Transportation and Economic Development

Mobility is important, especially along U.S. 75 and other major thoroughfares. The demand for housing is increasing around us and, to some degree, within our city. We must keep and also attract high quality employers. We must look beyond transportation systems of today and embrace futuristic ideas. We must maintain and enlarge the skills of our educated workforce. And we must have diverse growth that expand job opportunities to weather any economic storm and prevent high levels of unemployment and the fiscal impact that these tempests bring into communities. I will contribute my 30 years of business-building acumen to help shelter Plano residents.
